We welcome self-motivated prospective PhD students, postdoctoral researchers, and research assistants.
Applicants are expected to have a solid background in operations research, statistics, computer science, applied mathematics, or related fields, and enjoy mathematical reasoning or computational research.
PhD funding & career opportunities
PhD positions come with full scholarship support, covering tuition fees and a monthly stipend of at least S$3,000 (approximately RMB 16,000; exchange rates vary).
The full-time PhD programme typically takes four years. After graduation, you will have the opportunity to continue as a Research Fellow (Postdoctoral Researcher) with funding support. You may also choose to pursue faculty positions, industry careers, or other research opportunities.

English proficiency: For applicants submitting IELTS, the minimum IELTS (Academic) score is 7.0. TOEFL is also accepted, and exemptions may apply under CDE’s admission requirements.
You are welcome to contact me even if you do not yet have IELTS or TOEFL scores. You can prepare for and take the language test before the application deadline.
